Good bye Michael
8-29-1958 --- 6-25-2009
Woke up this morning to " Michael Jackson died!" A great sense of sadness came over me. The first Christmas I can remember, I got a Michael Jackson barbie doll, and the Thriller record. My sister and I used to play the album in the basement on our Fisher Price record player. I used to get scared and run upstairs at the intro to Thriller every time.... Thanks for the memories...

Monster Bash
This sunday we went to the Monster Bash at the Starlight Drive In. A fun filled day of cheap beer, trailer rock, crazy characters and scary movies. Of coarse, I was ready to go by the time the movies started:)

The Hero of Time
Last night we went to see the premier of "The Hero of time" at the Plaza Theatre. Starring one of my most lovely friends, Hannah Fierman, the movie is based on the Nintendo game The Legend of Zelda. it was so much fun to see her up on the big screen!

ummmm... Wine!
On our way back home, we stopped by The Wine Shoe which is just down the street from our building in Castleberry Hill. Owners Shannon and Nora immediately pulled out an amazing selection of white and reds to taste, with a detailed description of each. I am generally not a white wine drinker, but Nora has done a fantastic job of selecting these wines. I walked out with two nice bottles of wine and a great buzz!

Lindy's new hair pin
This weekend, Lindy and I walked over to the Indie Craft Experiance, where I have never wanted to buy so much awesome stuff in one place! From artwork, jewelry, stuff for the home, baby, and dog, everything was quite original. Here is Harmony from Heart Pounder . I loved how she displayed her jewelry in bird cages... so cute!
