Benoit Pioulard

I just watched this beautiful video on You Tube by Benoit Pioulard.His music is so dream like, as is this video... He's catching lightening bugs:) something I used to do often as a kid. I would put them in a jar with grass, and poke holes in the top of the jar. I would awake the next morning, so excited to see my new pets, only to find them dead:( Apparently, grass and air isn't enough for a lightening bug to live on....

Baby Sister

I just got the most beautiful letter form my little sis.It brought full on tears! Watching her grow has been one of the greatest pleasures in my life:) Keep dreaming darling...

My grandfather was a science magician when he and my grandmother were young. They used to travel to schools around the south and put on magic shows. I have a ton of material, photographs, posters, blue prints of all of the sets and props he built. See, he was an woods craftsmen as well as engineer. He could do it all apparently. The posters were in really bad condition, so I photographed them and cleaned them up in photoshop so I can frame them on the wall along with all of the rather creepy guillotine pictures and blue prints! Can't wait to have it all finished, until then, here are the before and afters

Good bye Michael

Woke up this morning to " Michael Jackson died!" A great sense of sadness came over me. The first Christmas I can remember, I got a Michael Jackson barbie doll, and the Thriller record. My sister and I used to play the album in the basement on our Fisher Price record player. I used to get scared and run upstairs at the intro to Thriller every time.... Thanks for the memories...
